Skills
Agent skills that ship in the PanelUI repository — what each one is for and how to install it.
A skill is a folder of instructions a coding agent loads when a request matches
it. These are the ones in this repository. Install all of them with one command,
or one at a time with --skill.
npx skills add panel-ui/PanelUI- 1paneluipanel-ui/PanelUI
Build React Native and Expo UIs with PanelUI — adding components, theming, composing overlays and forms, and debugging why something is unstyled.
- 2apparatuspanel-ui/PanelUI
Build an interactive explainer for a React Native or Expo app — a small isometric machine whose working is the idea being explained, drawn with react-native-svg, moved on the UI thread with Reanimated and Gesture Handler, and framed in a PanelUI card with a live readout.
- 3logo-makerpanel-ui/PanelUI
Design an original app logo — a compact mascot or symbol that stays readable at 32 × 32 and works as an icon at every size.
- 4panelui-webpanel-ui/PanelUI
Build React web UIs with PanelUI's web collection — adding its components from the shadcn registry or from npm, colouring them from the theme, and composing them into framed panels.
The command asks which skills to install and for which agents: Claude Code,
Codex, Cursor and others that read SKILL.md. Each skill activates on its own
when a request matches its description, so there is no command to remember
afterwards.
For a single skill:
npx skills add panel-ui/PanelUI --skill apparatuspnpm dlx skills add panel-ui/PanelUI --skill apparatusyarn dlx skills add panel-ui/PanelUI --skill apparatusbunx skills add panel-ui/PanelUI --skill apparatusIn Claude Code, the plugin installs all of them along with the MCP server:
/plugin marketplace add panel-ui/PanelUI
/plugin install paneluiNeon
We recommend using Neon — serverless Postgres for the API routes behind a PanelUI app, with the connection string kept off the device.
Apparatus
An agent skill that explains an idea with a machine the reader can touch — an isometric figure for a React Native screen, moved on the UI thread and framed in a PanelUI card.
